CCing design-team's list -- good idea to ask logo-related questions
there.
It's definitely recommended to make the Fedora typeface white in this
case -- if you can't read "Fedora" without squinting, change it.

Filing a bug against fedora-logos and attaching the proposed PNG with a
rationale would probably do the trick.

Fedora Community navigation rethinking
by Máirín Duffy
So the Fedora Community navigation is going to need some rethinking. I
haven't yet written up the usability test results but there was
definitely a lot of confusion shown through the tests - and we weren't
really 100% happy with it to start:
- The left nav tabs take up precious screen real estate, yet they are
top-level global nav and thus are not used as often as other navigation.
- It seemed the majority of users in the usability tests did not even
note the tabs going across the top.
- Many users in the tests also did not realize the right sidebar
secondary nav (1) was even there (2) if they saw it, they didn't think
it was related to the center content (eg nav for package details)
At FUDcon in Toronto this past weekend I showed the navigation to Diana
and we had a discussion about it, and she showed me some UI she has
worked on that I think is a great inspiration for making the Fedora
Community navigation a whole lot better to work with.
On the FUDbus back home I started trying some of her ideas -on the left,
the nav bar could slideback and slide out on demand, and I tried making
the right navbar look more 'navigation-y' rather than like it is little
ads or something not relevant to the content.
I've attached my inkscape mocks (I can't uplaod them to the wiki at the
moment because of the outage) - what do you think? (WARNING: these are
way rough and were done on a bus ;-) )

Still need help on the Games Spin Screenshots :)
by Máirín Duffy
Hi folks,
So we still have a few screenshots left for the Games Spin. I was
wondering if anyone is interested in helping fill the gaps - we are very
close to full coverage.
Here's what we need, please claim a letter if you're interested in
helping out!
1) P (11) - (Pachi El Marciano, Emilia Pinball, Pingu, Pioneers, Pipe
Night Dreams, Pipe Panic, Planets, Poker 2D, Power Manga, PyChess,
PySolFC)
2) R (4) - (Raid 'em, Ri-Li, Rocks 'N Diamonds, Rogue)
3) S (10) - (Scorched 3D, Scorch Went Bonkers, Seahorse Adventures,
Shippy, SolarWolf, Sopwith, Stellarium, Stormbaan Coureur, SuperTux,
SuperTux Kart)
Some guidelines:
* The images should be 300px x 225 px
* The image should include a screenshot and put a logo in it too.
* If the game doesn't have a logo, make a simple one for it and put it
in the image.
* You don't need to run the game to obtain the screenshot. Many of the
games have screenshots posted on their homepages that you can use.
Other missing images that I think Hisham is going to cover:
Net Panzer
Quarry
The upstream on this game is dead so we may drop it from the page:
NetHack: Vulture's Eye and Vulture's Claw
Thanks to everyone for your help so far! We are very close, let's finish
this!

[F13] Wiki page
by Luya Tshimbalanga
Fedora 13 Artwork wiki[1] has been created based on template used for
Fedora 12 Constantine. Concepts suggested by Nicu are:
- fedora: for your inner rocket scientist
- fedora: is not rocket science
You can have another concepts as long they are related to rocketry (space, rockets, galaxies, etc). Feel free to submit with favorite media (sketchs, illustration, photos collage as a long it complies to Fedora licensing guideline[2]).
