Your build probably wasn't compiled with COLLADA support, otherwise it should be there.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install https://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/40/Spins/x86_64... 2. --- Comment #2 from Luya Tshimbalanga luya_tfz@thefinalzone.net --- Hello, Starting from Fedora 40,openCOLLADA is retired from the repository (https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/openCOLLADA/c/8fbd0a8eee8d565374333b75c11...) for nearly a year due to lack of maintenance from upstream and its dependency from pcre 1 (https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/openCOLLADA). For that reason, we will not fix the issue. Should you like to take over that package and un-retire it, feel free to reopen this report and we will enable .dae support again.

That's very reasonable. Thank you for the explanation. I'd love to assist, but I've not the skill, so I can't.

--- Comment #4 from Luya Tshimbalanga luya_tfz@thefinalzone.net --- Alternatively, you can use the F39 version which supports openCOLLADA. We will update that version to 4.2 as the last stable release with such support for Fedora 38.
