Hello There!
I am trying to understand how storage volumes will be generalized
in
DeltaCloud. The reason why I am asking is because CSPs like EC2
support detached
storage which mean each volumes will have a unique ID. However CSPs
like vCloud
has attached storage where volumes will not have any IDs. (I am trying
to get
GoGrid driver working but so far no success). So I am trying to
understand how
attached storage volumes will be represented in deltacloud XML.
The block storage and volume storage part of the API needs a thorough
revamp - I agree that it's too EC2-centric right now.

Interesting.. any idea when the revamp is supposed to happen? I thought DC APIs
are already finalized and currently under DTMF review?
Thanks
