So I stubbornly continue to do this.
More troublesome: the call in the initializer kills the ability to
run
a migration on a new database, as it tries to select from a
non-existent table. The solution may be to put this in an
after_initializer:

I bypassed that with a simple comment, then added a provider (fine).
However, when I added an account, I got the following error:
So it appears I have not rebased to the latest 'next'. I'll do that,
resolve issues and post a new patch. I don't think using an initializer
is so much the problem as that the function/method it calls is borked.
