I would like to suggest that for all patches, we update the subject format to specify with repo the patch applies to, which I think would make it easier for people testing to know right off what they might be testing. If no one disagrees, all developer need to do is add the following to their .git/config file in each repo:
[format] subjectprefix = PATCH <repo-name-here>

Yes, that's a good idea - I've already done it for my core checkout and those patches should show up as 'PATCH core'

Yes, that's a good idea - I've already done it for my core checkout and those patches should show up as 'PATCH core'

Can it be built into each repo? I.e. already in the .got/config file when you pull a fresh copy.
