Hello,
The reports for wine are not helpful.
1) The backtrace is garbage.
2) Windows binaries can induce crashes that look like Wine crashes.
3) The version of Wine that was reported is not even close to what is
currently in "updates".
The 8 bugs that were opened are going to be "CLOSED - INSUFFICIENT_DATA"
unless there is something better to look at.
Thanks,
Michael
Hi and thanks for the feedback!
What can we do to provide better backtraces for wine or how we can
filter the ones that might be caused by Windows binaries?
We have the tools to collect data at time of the crash but we need
feedback from maintainers as we can't possibly know what each of 2000+
components requires for debugging and submitting reports which are
actually helpful for maintainers.
Situation with older versions is temporary and it's caused by initial
sync between bugzilla and faf server.
Best regards,
