This coming Monday, we'll have a report on the state of Fedora Marketing from Chris Roberts. Probably will do this via Google Hangouts — I'll post details here monday morning. The goal is also to record it for people who can't attend in real time.

I suggest using BlueJeans instead, Google Hangout has a limited number of participants. Last time, we used for a large meeting, well, a lot of us were not able to attend.

Okay. I have no idea how to record a bluejeans session for later — do you? And, um, do you want to volunteer to set it up? :)

just a side note on hangouts: if you do an "on-air" there are a limited number of speakers, but mucho large audience[1]; if you do a hangout, there are limited number of speakers who are the same as the audience[2]. So, for the council meeting preso, an on-air might work with a back-channel irc.

I think this is a decent approach. I'll set up the event and invite the council members as speakers, and then post the public details here as a separate message.

It's a feature only accessible to the pin leader/host http://bluejeans.com/features/recording You can even configure bluejeans to record your meetings by default (no manipulations needed then !)
Unluckily, I have to pass on monday, I'll be teaching at college that day :(

Free for participants and we can download the video in mp4. Red Hat has a BlueJean subscription, so we can leverage it to create meetings.
