So:

1: Written report monthly
2: Objective checkup at the start of every Open Floor meeting?
3: Use Subproject report video meetings for Objectives (with other
   things sometimes mixed in)

despite the extra work, I like the monthly reports idea. we need to be sure each objective has a "subject area" on the blog(s) too.

?

I think I'd rather skip the complication of "those months don't require
a separate post". Rather, that month, the post could be a link to the
recording and any slides.

+1

What do you think about doing *two* video meetings per month (replacing
one of the open floor slots)? On the one hand, more work for me and
more commitment from everyone. On the other hand, video is good for
promoting activity.

unless we fix the meeting time, I can't support this. I can do an irc meeting and another meeting at once but not two video meetings. I had to bail on a work meeting for the one today (can watch a recording).
