Re: FESCo and Council elections in July 2016
by Jan Kurik
Hi,
this is just a reminder that the nomination period for elections to
Fedora Council and FESCo is still open. The nomination period ends on
2016-Jul-11 at 23:59 UTC.
For FESCo we have opened four seats:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Development/SteeringCommittee/Nominations
For Council we have opened one seat:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Council/Nominations
If you have anything you would like to ask candidates to FESCo or to
Council, please add it to the wiki
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Elections/Questionnaire
Regards,
Jan

This idea was proposed by Anish Patil (FAS: anishpatil) in G11N FAD during
November 2015. Idea is to start introductory course on OpenLearning.com.
Anish is working there presently and mentioned he would like to help there.
i.e. If we provide content to him, he can help to clean up and make them
suitable for format of openlearning.
I wanted to propose this to council also sometime. May be good to start
with L10N/Translation first and gradually build Fedora syllable (very
optimistic).

vacation

Hi everyone. I know I was quiet this week — quite the busy Red Hat
Summit this year (with a lot of love for Fedora!) — but I just wanted
to remind everyone that I'll be on vacation this next week and *even
more quiet*. (Planning to be completely offline at least some of the
time.) I'll be back on Tuesday, July 12th. See you then!
(In the meantime, Paul Frields and Joe Brockmeier are probably the best
contacts for anything urgent — or just post to this list or file a
ticket!)
