Hi!
You can find upstream discussions about automatic rollback in
https://github.com/coreos/fedora-coreos-tracker/issues/47. It's
definitely something we'd like to get to one day, but it's not planned
in the short-term.
We definitely discussed there incorporating greenboot as part of the
design for allowing user-defined boot success conditions. It might
make sense to include it as a first step before the rest of the
details are implemented, though we'll need to flesh out the
discussions there a bit more to make sure it all fits together well in
the end.

Hi Oliver!
As the author of greenboot I am delighted to see there is interest in it :)
I don't think there are plans to add greenboot to Fedora CoreOS at this time.
It is however part of Fedora IoT and has recently moved its canonical repository into
Fedora IoT's Github org:
https://github.com/fedora-iot/greenboot
If you'd like for greenboot to be included in Fedora CoreOS by default, you could
open an issue on the tracker for discussion:
https://github.com/coreos/fedora-coreos-tracker
Best regards
Christian

reason I am asking is because I am thinking of integrating greenboot
(
https://github.com/LorbusChris/greenboot) - but would not do so in case of this feature
would soon be "built-in".. Thanks a lot for any statement!
