Good afternoon,
I've been experimenting with getting to cobbler to handle UEFI installs for some time now, however I am having difficulties getting it to boot into an install using the 2nd NIC.
I've tried with a range of both Generation 11 and 12 dell machines.
When PXE booting from NIC1, everything works fine, the cobbler kickstarts all work perfectly and my operating systems install, however, when using NIC2 only a GRUB prompt is shown instead of booting in to the installation.
I've looked at this and can't see any difference in the way cobbler responds. Looking at it through wireshark is exactly the same.
Is this some kind of Dell UEFI limitation or has anyone seen this before?
Kind regards,
