Actually $yum_repo_stanza in the kickstart file resolved the issue on centOS 5.4.
I just tried with Centos 5.4 but result was the same. Somehow cobbler
never offered
external repo even though it was mirrored locally and included in the profile. i'm
still
not convinced my ks file is correct even though there is nit much to be wrong there
as I used the existing anaconda-ks.cfg as an input.
