This is something I am also interested in. Getting signatures for some of these minimal distributions like Atomic and CoreOS is critical, IMO, for the future of Cobbler. PXE deployments are still very important but if Cobbler is going to remain relevant is has to find a way to become a useful sidekick for containerization methods like those that work with Docker.
Anyway, I love Cobbler, and I think it can be useful in this way. Unfortunately I'm not much more than a sysadmin and heretofore 98% of my programming has been ad hoc. I just forked cobbler from github and am working out how to contribute. I have some bugs I'd like to fix first (namely those relating to cnames) but after that I may move into a signature for Atomic.
