I still have not seen a working F12 kernel in EC2. I spoke with Amazon
Tues and I think the problem is that Amazons infrastructure is a mix
between RHEL5.0 and 5.2 hosts which have an older version of XEN. Has
anyone had any luck running the new F12 kernels as a PV XenU on an older
version of Xen ie. a RHEL5.0 dom0 host?
Also, I am curious to what patches went into the latest F12 kernels we
were waiting on a couple of weeks ago? Were these designed to address
working with older versions of XEN?
Lastly I have a contact a amazon who is willing to help us out here
however have not had a chance to do much testing.
Are your images even booting locally? I have not seen one generated from
your kickstarts that would boot in RHEL 5.5 even.
