Is it possible to use fedup to update a Digital Ocean server?
by Philip Rhoades
People,
I used fedup to do the initial stage of upgrading on a Fedora 20 x86_64
VM -> F21 on DO but when I reboot, the new fedup option in:
/boot/grub2/grub.cfg
is ignored - I even tried putting in a "set default=0" into the config
but it didn't make any difference - obviously the DO setup is bypassing
that stuff. I asked the DO tech support people but they just said
create a new F23 VM and move stuff over. Should it be possible to do
the fedup upgrade somehow? - it would save me a bit of time . .
Thanks,
Phil.

Containerization of Kubernetes/Flannel/etcd in Atomic image?
by Steve Gordon
Hi all,
There was talk some time in the path of Kubernetes, Flannel, and etcd being made available as container images for deployment on top of the Atomic image rather than baked into it. Is this still the plan and if so when might this work start showing up in Fedora Atomic? This is particularly relevant for the OpenStack Magnum folks who would like an easier way to interchange different versions of some of these components rather than having to rebuild the image (which is what they currently do).
Thanks,
Steve

Done. If you need to move it to a different component please do so.

Yep, that worked. I included the workaround in the BZ.

Error when rebasing to testing tree
by Dusty Mabe
I am getting an error when trying to rebase to the updates-testing
ostree. It is a similar fsetxattr error we have seen in the past:
# Go to known reproducer starting point:
-bash-4.3# rpm-ostree deploy 23.54 && reboot
# After reboot:
-bash-4.3# rpm-ostree rebase fedora-atomic:fedora-atomic/f23/x86_64/testing/docker-host
Receiving objects: 92% (3773/4069) 859.0 kB/s 99.6 MB
error: fsetxattr: Invalid argument
Can I get someone to confirm they can reproduce the issue and debug
it? Should I open a bug?
