#124: CI for Fedora-Dockerfiles

Reporter: scollier | Owner:

Need a strategy to make sure all the images are built when new versions of
Docker are released, or the images are updated with scripts, w/e. Need to
figure out what the proper triggers are, and what the infrastructure it
would be run on is.

Nice. I'm CC'ing the cloud working group here as well.

Nope, totally different audience.

I like this. Container-ception?

Amanda tried to post an invite to this to the list but it got caught in
moderation. Oops. But here it is after the fact — a presentation on
what the releing/tools/infrastructure team accomplished in turning
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Two_Week_Atomic from a sketch
into real, functioning code. Check it out:

(And big apologies for not sending the invite through beforehand!)

See
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/F23_Final_release_announcement#Fedora_Cloud
I'd like the annoucement to be mainly targeted at new or casual users.
Details and tech stuff should go into the release notes. Here, for each
of the editions, I think we want just
- the quick elevator pitch ("Build scale-out computing with...")
- a one-liner describing the most exciting new things (probably Atomic
focused?)
- an action statement — "Download or launch a Fedora Cloud instance to
get started with the next generation of computing today....
except, not necessarily those words. What words *should* I use?

Hi,
I re-wrote the Koji documentation on building images. It should be
current if you ignore layered docker images. That'll come at a later
date, but not 3 years too late I hope. :)

Let me know what you think!
