Reminder + topics for Wednesday's (12/04/2013) cloud WG meeting

Following is the list of topics that will be discussed in the cloud WG meeting Wednesday at 17:00 UTC in #fedora-meeting-1 on irc.freenode.net. The agenda is looking fairly light so if anyone has things they've been waiting to bring up, it's probably a good day for that. I won't be able to make the meeting so rbergeron will act as chairperson unless someone else steps up. lifespan and lifecycle

One of the general questions that's coming up across the working groups is product lifecycle. We should talk about what we would like to see for the Fedora cloud. I often hear that a longer lifecycle would be beneficial, and if Fedora as a whole goes for that I think we would take advantage, but more important, I think, is the ability to move to a newer version without hassle -- application stack works on one version and also on the next, or at least only requires minor changes. I also _really_ think we need to do periodic respins including updates, and we could possibly call these point releases. Hiya, I've packaged docker-registry. More info here: https://github.com/dotcloud/docker-registry/ It's available for Fedora 19+ (in updates-testing): https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/docker-registry-0.6.0-3.fc19 https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/docker-registry-0.6.0-3.fc20 I pushed today this package to EPEL 6 too.
