Hi,
First, apologize for the miscommunication on that.
Yes the rpm-sti-test is a replacement for rpm-test to benefit from Testing Farm.
yeah, apologies also from me
We thought it would have been a "transparent" switch however we missed the point that
a ".repo" file was installed on the nodepool node running the sti test but might not be installed
the same way on Testing Farm.
Yeah, it is definitely different, because the repo files are provided by Zuul.
Looking at our code we need to revisit, ideally, make it at least the same as
with Fedora CI, currently, I do not see a repo properly generated.
I have filled:
Let's follow up there ...
Best regards,
/M
I will re-enable the rpm-test job now and then we can figure out how to solve this problem.
Sorry for the trouble
Fabien
Hello,
we have observed recently that the PR tests running with Zuul added a new
"rpm-sti-test" job (yesterday?) which seems to run the STI test on the Testing
Farm and later the original "rpm-test" which runs the STI tests locally (?) was
removed (today?).
I have not seen this announced nor coordinated anywhere and I have a hard time
to figure out where the changes are actually happening. I've seen some related
changes in https://pagure.io/fedora-zuul-jobs-config committed by Guy Inger
(CCed), but I don't know any more details.
We have some trouble with our testing script:
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/pyproject-rpm-macros/blob/rawhide/f/tests/mocktest.sh
It has the following code:
# The zuul CI has zuul-build.repo
# The Jenkins CI has test-<pkgname>.repo
# We run this code from various packages, so we support any <pkgname>
if [ -f /etc/yum.repos.d/zuul-build.repo ]; then
cat /etc/yum.repos.d/zuul-build.repo >> $config
else
cat /etc/yum.repos.d/test-*.repo >> $config
fi
But since the change, we are getting:
cat: '/etc/yum.repos.d/test-*.repo': No such file or directory
Has the repo filename changed? What it is now?
Thanks,
