In your responses, you said 'The task gets released by kojid when it restarts. its then picked up again and started over.'
Howerver,if the task gets released, other builders should pick up the task. But they do not.The task does not go on until the builder powers on.Why?

The task is only released by kojid when kojid gets restarted. not when it is shutdown.

kojid tries to release the task when doing an orderly shutdown. However, there are lots of reasons it may not be able to successfully release the task, in which case it will stay claimed by that builder until the builder starts up again.
