After implementing this I realized that it is not as straight-forward as
I thought. Currently, if you want to add a mailing list (ML) you modify
the configuration based on the release name. If you want to add another
ML based on a new status you just have to update the code and the
configuration.
If the ML is a field of the release you would either have to update the
database to add a new ML for a new status or you would have to create a
new ML class that is related to the Release class and it just opens up a
can of worms.
So in hind-sight, I think it would be a better overall approach to
create a ML class, I don't think it is worth the effort.
