Thanks; I'm glad to see more interest in improving the Fedora scala experience! I
prepared the change writeup to describe things that were already done, but I've been
keeping a list of nice-to-have packages on the wiki here:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/SIGs/bigdata/packaging/Scala#Other_Scala_p...
Please add other packages that you're interested in seeing in Fedora and update the
list if you start working on something. I'm planning on writing up some more detailed
documentation on RPM packaging with sbt, but for now, the basics are on the SIG wiki page.
The wiki writeup currently discusses the pre-f21 way of handling dependencies for sbt
projects; if you want to use xmvn's Ivy resolution support (you do) the best place to
look for an example is the Spark spec (in particular, see the xmvn patch):
http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/spark.git/tree/spark.spec
I'm hoping to streamline this process somewhat and have further documentation soon.
In the meantime, please let me know (either here or on IRC) if you have questions!
best,
wb
