On behalf of the Beaker development team, I'm pleased to announce that
Beaker 25.0 is now available from the Beaker web site [1]. Thanks to
everyone who contributed patches and bug reports for this release.
I'd like to advise to *not* upgrade to this release.
As you may notice, the release was made on the 9th of March 2018. Due to
a mistake in the release process, the release was created before our
release candidate and therefore any acceptance testing was missing. We
decided to not announce, but to carry out the acceptance testing which
found a few blocking regressions. We've started working on these
important fixes which will be released with Beaker 25.1.
Beaker 25 adds support for provisioning arbitrary distro trees,
Anaconda’s liveimg command, collecting device firmware versions, and
many other new capabilities. Full details are available in the release
notes [2].
The complete log of all commits since Beaker 24.5 is also available [3].
