Excerpts from Alexander Todorov's message of 2015-03-19 22:23 +10:00:
Hi guys,
I've found two repos for restraint:
https://bpeck.fedorapeople.org/restraint/el7/
https://amitksaha.fedorapeople.org/restraint/centos7/
It looks like the 1st one is more up-to-date. Which one is recommended for use?
You can now start using the Beaker harness-testing repos:
https://beaker-project.org/yum/harness-testing/
I have set up some Jenkins jobs which will build every commit on master
of restraint for every distro and arch. The restraint builds will be
automatically added to the above harness-testing repos by Jenkins.
Currently only RHEL7 and Fedora are done, I am in the process of adding
RHEL4-6 now. It has turned out to be a lot more difficult than it
sounds. :-) One problem is that the emulated S/390 builder takes almost
7 hours for one build...
I am also working to make tagged releases of restraint go into the main
harness repos, which means the restraint builds will (eventually) become
available by default in Beaker with no extra repos needed. Once that is
done, and restraint has seen some more thorough testing on beaker-devel,
we will announce it as a supported alternative harness.
