Comment (by riecatnor):
@maryshak1996, good start! Because this is a membership badge, it should
have a pink outer ring and a green background. I think this badge design
could be just as successful without the text, since the badge will be
called 'ship it!" Right now the text is the most prominent part. I would
like you to try adding in strokes on your objects. The curvature on the
ship is very illustrative and it would be nice to see the holes on the
ship follow that curvature. I would like to see a version without as many
gradients used. although gradients are used in Fedora Badges, they are
used in a subtle way when possible. You can achieve the look of depth
without using gradients, for example this badge:
https://badges.fedoraproject.org/badge/it-still-works! It is using the
regular Fedora blue as the "highlight" and the dark Fedora blue as the
"shadow" You could try doing something like this:
https://cdn.vectorstock.com/i/composite/84,77/cartoon-ship-
vector-728477.jpg using different shapes of color to define volume. It
could be nice for the ship to be orange because it would be a developer
ship :)
