Badge description: You created a QA test case for a package!
QA test cases are created by packagers as well as package testers. Anyone
with permissions to create and edit pages on the fedoraproject.org wiki
can create a QA test case.
As their name suggest, they server for quality assurance purposes -- use
case testing, regression testing, etc. As an example, here's a Firefox
package test case:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_firefox_media
The test case are automatically linked to package updates in Bodhi
([https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-0af3ff40a7 example])
where package testers can indicate whether the package passes a test case
or not.
Because the test case page names have to follow specific naming
conventions, it should be easy to create criteria for awarding the badge.

I think there is not much to say about this badge, the python3 porting is
a big effort and the porting FAD was a great event in this line.

Badge Series for Community Blog authors
https://communityblog.fedoraproject.org/
Help the badges team understand what this idea is all about. If this
badge is awarded for certain kinds of activities:
1) What are those activities?
Like Fedora Magazine Badge Series, but for Community Blog.
2) Who is doing them (are they packagers? translators? newcomers?
veterans? users? sponsors?)
Fedora contributors
3) Why are they doing them (is this a means to a different end?)
Unlike Fedora Magazine which is for general news about Fedora OS,
Community Blog is for News and updates for about the Fedora Project
community that develops supports and promotes Fedora.
-Posts would lead to information spread about what is happening in every
nook and corner of Fedora Developer Community.
-Badge would signify high community participation and would encourage
community engagement amongst other contributors.
- Promote Community Blog amongst Fedora contributors
4) When do they do them (every day? once a year?)
anytime. more the better.
5) How do they do them (by talking in IRC? by running commands in the
console? by using a web interface?)
Authoring posts to be published on Community Blog
Lastly, do you have any ideas for artwork concepts?
Community Bonding. Sort of like friends meeting and talking. Something to
show information spread too.

Problem:
The badges about FAS birthday are given to inactive members.
Example: https://badges.fedoraproject.org/badge/adult-frog are given to
mrtom recently, an old French member but inactive (and his FAS account is
tagged as inactive) for several years.
The ticket to create these badges are not very clear about the goal of the
badge: celebrate a birthday or celebrate the loyalty to the project?
Maybe it is not the right place to open this bug, I apologize for that in
this case.

Badge description:
"You became a co-maintainer of a package with less than 3 co-maintainers
or of a branch with a single commiter"
activities:
1) What are those activities?
Becoming a co-maintainer of a package
2) Who is doing them?
Packagers, usually the new packagers.
3) Why are they doing them?
The idea is to facilitate the entrance and guidance of new packagers by
following these guidelines
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Policy_for_encouraging_comaintainers_of_pa...
4) When do they do them?
Whenever they want to get more involved into packaging without the need of
packaging new software
5) How do they do them?
For now, they would have to look for packages matching the criteria in
pkgdb and convince the package admins to let them co-maintain the pkg. I
am preparing an app to list those packages :)
Lastly, do you have any ideas for artwork concepts?
I believe 'sidekick' (as in a hero's sidekick, like Robin [batman]) is a
good name for it. Maybe we could have 2 pandas, one with a cape and one
with a mask or sth like that :)
I also believe we could have sidekick I, II and III for 1, 5 and 10 co-
maintained packages. We want to keep those numbers low ->
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Policy_for_encouraging_comaintainers_of_pa...

All of them. Interacting with the Team, helping others, attending the
meetings, contributing with the Diversity Efforts.
Lastly, do you have any ideas for artwork concepts?
I would like a badger and a panda shaking hands.
Despite it's quite common to use the LGBT flag, I would like this badge to
be associated with diversity and not with a single group. This badge will
serve for everyone, despite race, religion, citizenship, preference, age,
etc.

Help the badges team understand what this idea is all about. If this

1) What are those activities?
People who are/were not physically present at Flock to present the talk
but helped the main speaker in preparing demo or presentation

flock
3) Why are they doing them (is this a means to a different end?)

once a year like other flock badges
5) How do they do them (by talking in IRC? by running commands in the

Lastly, do you have any ideas for artwork concepts?
Just see if one more panda can fit in existing flock speaker badge
Some background, Commops from this time looks started a great initiative
of giving speaker badges to the people who helped main speakers at flock.
I think this should become a formal badge so that commops one more
initiative of stats collection can get help from this badge like how many
people used to help main speakers at Flock.
Also, once the badge is done we can email on devel or flock speaker list
to submit all such people fas id and award them this Flock Co-speaker
badge.
Thanks for reading this idea.
