Those subset repositories need to die. IMO, they don't serve any
useful purpose. They also artificially reduce the total available package set for these
things, don't they?
No, they don't, because at runtime, everything uses Everything.
As I understand it, they were created to give us more flexibility when we were forming the
Editions plan, but we haven't really done anything to take advantage of them — and in
fact because they're created on the fly at the last minute as part of a single
compose, they don't even give us the ability to, say, release Server but delay
workstation for a day or anything.
