Had a chat with AdamW about this issue and it seems to be a known issue in
openqa. Adam re-ran the openqa tests on compose Fedora-Atomic 28-20180529.0
, and test is passing now -
https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/243020
Test failure occurs occasionally due to some bug in either qemu or spice.
OpenQA launches vm to test media using qemu-kvm with options -vga qxl and
-vnc
which sometimes stops updating screen with spice error, something like:
2018-05-29T09:18:30.0170 UTC] [debug] QEMU: (process:28004): Spice-CRITICAL
**: display-channel.c:2035:display_channel_update: condition
`display_channel_validate_surface(display, surface_id)' failed"
This issue seems to be happening occasionally since F25, related bug
-

Passed openQA tests: 1/2 (x86_64)
