long ago, Red Hat staffers solicited help from a group called

and I recall, at the time, sending a balky video card, itself,
to Mike, with no expectation of its return, so he could have
'hands on' to run down what was happening
Similarly during the Alpha port, Alan Cox (then at Red Hat)
received, with the understanding that hardware was never
returned once sent off, a box from Digital, for the porting
effort
Peter, if lack of a 'hands on testing candidate' as to the
ODroid HC1 (which seems to be a 'problem super-set' of the XU4)
is a problem, please let me know off list, and I can work out
getting one dispatched to you under a similar understanding.
I recall 'passing on taking delivery' of the then-hard to
obtain early RPi I was awarded by chance at the Blacksburg
Fedora event several years ago to a RH staffer in similar
fashion
