Is this already like this for the ``Partition.execute()`` method? If not, we should fix it there too. Otherwise this is enough.

It does look to me like PartitionData is in a similar situation to LogVolData as regards reporting errors on size.
But, this PR is just a patch that got dropped in the rebase, and should make it in to 7.2.
It looks to me like PartitionData is subtly different, because it does not use preexist attribute at all. And there's a possibility that RaidData and BtrfsData and VolGroupData should get some similar treatment, based on the fact that they actually do have the preexist attribute. So, I think this patch should stand alone, and these possible issues should be addressed on master.
