My guess was because LoopDevice is unique in that it changes its name
after __init__ to the actual loop device being allocated, and during
teardown the loop%d name no longer corresponds to a device in /dev. I
don't know if that actually matters, though.
Perhaps _setName() ought to be reevaluated a bit, in light of this
new development and new info.
