Hi all,
I have been in the list of ambassadors for quite some time, yet have
been dormant for the entire time. I do realise I should have taken up
initiatives. I stay in Bangkok, Thailand and am currently working on
setting up Linux in a school here. I am creating an Intra-net Web
application based on Perl, Apache, MySQL and Linux (Fedora).
Great! You are really welcome!
I really do not know how to contribute to this wonderful
community. I
am not very sure where I could help. I am an RHCE, and know Perl to a
decent extent. I am picking up python and a lot of mysql as my work
demands that. I am very interested in high-performance clusters.
Fedora Ambassadors project is full of initiative and, I'm sure, you'll
surely find the best one that can fit you.
If you have time to spend organizing it, you could do a Install Fest
in your city, you could see if there are Free and Open Source events
around you and joining them as Fedora (maybe having a booth or/and a
speech). I encourage you to get in contact with the Ambassadors around
you and maybe start doing something all together.
You have a lot of professional skills, you could, moreover, doing
something in the packages/bugs report side. Just take a look at
fedoraproject.org/wiki and browse Package Mantainers/ BugZappers
pages.
Those are just ideas. Tell me if you were in search of such answers.

Francesco Ugolini
