Hi,
If you're interested in a Fedora 11 release event, please add your information here, for tracking purposes.
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Release_Party
As in the past, we'll make $100-$200 USD of budget available to help seed the events and give organizers some funding to use at their discretion. It will help tremendously if you are able to be reimbursed via PayPal.
Possible ideas for Release Parties:
(1) Having a LiveUSB installfest, and having local mirrors so that people can do local network installs.
(2) Sponsoring food & drinks at a LUG meeting, and having the "keynote" talk of the night be about Fedora 11, what you do for Fedora, and how others can contribute.
(3) If you are in an area with a number of Fedora contributors, get them all together and just have a little troubleshooting session for others, and do some random hacking on stuff, or just enjoy each other's company and revel in the success of a release.
(4) Whatever you can imagine.
Thanks, Max

Really cool ideas! Currently, I don't have the infrastructure... I'm working on it! ;=)
