Hello all,
Tonight at the Fedora Ambassadors of North America meeting, we went over
Ticket #131, which proposes a new event for Ambassadors to attend in
early March.

BrickHack is an annual hackathon event at the Rochester Institute of
Technology in Rochester, NY, where students from around the country
flock to RIT for a weekend of programming and contest. They create
things, solve practical problems, compete for prizes, and interact with
sponsors. As of January 28th, 2016, there are over 500 people confirmed
and registered to attend. There is still another month of registration.
This event also holds potential to connect with hundreds of students and
teach about open source, Linux, and Fedora, which pairs nicely with the
University Involvement Initiative proposed by the Council earlier in 2015.

At our meeting, we were hoping to find out about any Ambassadors local
to the area or interested in attending the event. As part of the
sponsorship level we are able to have, it allows us to bring mentors to
the event to help provide advice and assistance to students about
programming help or problems.
If you are interested or available, please add your name to the wiki page.
Thanks!
