Is anyone planning on attending LugRadio Live USA in San Francisco, April 12-13?

I note several other distributions will be present in the exhibitor space. There is no cost to exhibit.
I don't see it on the Ambassadors calendar at present. http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedoraEvents
Thanks, Matt

Do we have any local Ambassadors who want to own this event? That would cut down on the cost in a busy calendar. This is more of a social conference, and the F9 release is a few weeks afterward, so maybe we should discuss the value of attendance. We were not asked to provide any speakers, but we might be able to get a booth still if someone's interested.

I can't attend, due to FISL.

Did Fedora have a presence at this event?

Not to my knowledge, although, from what I hear, turnout was pretty low.

We chose to spend our North America budget on other events this past quarter. FAMSCo ultimately makes the decisions about which events Fedora participates in worldwide, with the input of the Fedora Board and Fedora Project Leader on special events that are considered particularly important, like FUDCons, LinuxTag, FISL, etc.
Additionally, any Ambassadors who offers to organize Fedora's presence at an event will be able to get some amount of funding from FAMSCo, provided that it is organized with enough lead-time.
Maybe things will be different in the future. I submitted a proposal to give a talk at LUG Radio Live UK, and if it is accepted, I will attend.
