It was my impression that people were not particularly interested in
the DVD without even checking the version. But that might be some
amount of confirmation bias on my part. :)

About the university(ies) using it there there were a few namely Yale's
IT department and MIT had a representative, I had grabbed the Yale
dude's info but can't seem to readily find it if I do I can pass that
along to you tho.
Also I can confirm Matt's feelings on the lack of overall interest in
DVD Media, and a desire for usb media ( while I know there has been many
a chat on the increased $$ aspect of printed usb media)
