My bad, I was not active during the last meeting. Likewise, there were none
during the last to last, the last to last to last and so on and so forth.
There is nothing bad in that, I believe one can be busy with their own day
job one or other day.
That is why I propose to have meeting atleast, even with less people and
people can read mails reply on tickets and ML.
Though I know having more attendance always help and fasten things up but
as we have seen there is not any working solution ATM, we can try this.
There are a *LOT* of things to discuss which needs attention and being an
open community its always necessary to have all the actors to vote before
reaching a conclusion. It's a humble request to all if they can make it to
the meetings in-time as we are kinda stalling the growth of the entire
region
Couple of things besides many things which need attention are:
1.Reimbursement for Release Parties now that we have izhar who wants
someone to take up the CC.
I think, PJP was going to take this up?
2.Swags for event, I see a lot of new people (people !=
Contributors)
who want to take their first step with something as small as installfest
and its disturbing to notice that we don't have any swags to give out.
We can think of one/two person covering their region with enough swags
with them. We need to implement this idea. Although, I think swags should
not be the blocker for taking the first step.
3.We need to plan Fedora presence in 2017 with a Year rewind post to
understand where we stand and create a plan to move forward the
initiatives.
2018 you mean? Let's open a ticket with etherpad link and start collecting
ideas there with everyone's inputs.
Thanks,
Amita
Thoughts?
Thanks
