Hi all, Where can I order one of this? I have a left over money from the budget in which I could use to get one of this, but do you guys think that it's possible to get it before Friday, May 23, 2008? I really think that it would look nice if I could wear it during the Los Angeles Fedora 9 Release Party.
Thanks, Grady Laksmono http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/GradyLaksmono http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedoraEvents/ReleaseParty/F9/LA

^^ Hi Grady,
unfortunately *NOT* because if you read the Wiki [1], the deadline is passed for the last order we (in Europe) placed a few weeks ago. Maybe we to order again for the next FUDCon in Prague in Q3. Otherwise we can try like this: You're the contact for us (who'll order), collect the quality and quantity you need in your area, finance the order in front (incl. freight and custom), transfer the money by wire and we take care here that you'll get what you want and you're the man who split one delivery to the US. This can maybe be handles by "Fedora EMEA e.V." (one of the advantages the association will have
sounds this good for you?

Sorry for no better answer :-(
:( it's not even available in the U.S?

That one is not. Pascal recently worked with one of the North American vendors to get pricing for production in the US. He posted his findings here:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-ambassadors-list/2008-May/msg00034.ht...
I think we are just waiting for someone to organize a bulk purchase in the North America area so we can get the discounted pricing. Of course the person that organizes that will need coordinate getting the shirts to the people that want them. Probably would have been a good thing to get organized before FUDcon.
If nothing is organized by the time Ohio Linux Fest occurs (mid-October), then I will likely organize a purchase of the polos and send announcements to the list - as I know there will be several of us at Ohio Linux Fest who will want to have polos for working the booth.
Thanks, Jeffrey
Hi there,
as mentioned in my mail before, if YOU want to ... we can order, produce and send them to the US. But we need the money in front. One shirt costs (it's stitched) approx. EUR 25/each plus transport and custom ... If we get more than "only a bunch" (let's say at least 50 peaces) I think we'll get a better price or we try to arrange it by a private person travelling from US to Europa and back in 5 - 10 pieces / travel :-)
Regards
Gerold

Just speaking for myself, I'd prefer to source these regionally.
I think we are probably ready to gather orders for at least an initial order.
North American Ambassadors who are interested in polos, please send me the following information, and I will work with the regional Fedora Ambassador leadership to request funding for the initial up-front one-time logo design costs. I will ask if the vendor can drop ship orders directly to individuals and see how much that will cost.
Name Address e-mail Quantity of polos you'd like Sizing
We can turn these around fairly quickly I'd think, plenty of time prior to Ohio Linux Fest and FUDCon. Thanks all!
Best regards,
