Subject: Re: [Ambassadors] FUDCon APAC bids
By referring two wiki pages for bids we can see India has almost done
most of planning stuffs rather than China bid. Further at the moment
India bid page seems to be a very popular place as there is more
than 70 registered people for the event. The number of the
facilitators is also higher. The cost of the place and cost of
travelling seems to be lesser (not able to find a budget for China
bid). Their calculated budget also with in the range that is
proposed for the APAC FUDcon. Further India is a rich place of
Fedora contributors, and hope this event will trigger them and can
be invested to get more contribution towards the project. The air
ticket fees for the location from interested contributor locations
should be considered as well.
+1.
IMO, I also prefer India.
Kind regards,
