This is also a good chance for teams who would like to bid for

If we can do that, this FAD would become both Ambassadors FAD and
FUDCon
Planning FAD. Is that also good? Any ideas?
Tuan,
The FAD is supposed to be for all APAC contributors. Since it's not at
all about spreading Fedora and rather getting work done, I reckon it
should actually have *more* folks from other Fedora teams than from
ambassadors. I propose we send out mails to each of the local mailing
lists asking interested folks to join the fudcon-planning list, since I
think that's the correct channel for this event (We don't have a FAD
planning list, do we?). This mail will also request them to blog about
what they're doing at Fedora currently and add their links to the talk
page as I just suggested. [1]
For the FUDCon planning, I would be OK with *one* representative of each
local team that wants to bid for the FUDCon at the most: I see no point
of having the entire teams down. Having the event owners come down
should be enough.
To clarify, rather reiterate: the FAD is NOT an ambassador event like a
release party or user interaction session. It is about getting work
done. Please keep this in mind when you propose tasks that you'd want
done at the FAD. (If we don't have enough work that can be done, we
don't need a FAD.)
