I haven't done this in a while, but in my experience, showing the 3d printer working well with Fedora was interesting to that audience.

I think Miro can confirm this as he is always using 3D printer on the booth, the interest such a device gets is much lower today. Even here where to get one is much much harder its not a thing which creates crowds anymore. Even on the MakerFaire here in Phnom Penh there was nearly on each booth one, it justs attracts the 3D print nerds who want to know your expieriences with this model.

I have more negative expiriences with just presenting Raspi standalone (I dont use Raspi hard to come by here, I use the Leopard board I got back at Flock) but that is also a local problem as Khmer are not very inquiringly, I have to get a crowd before the project then one is mostly asking the question of somebody else.

I think you have to do some awesome with raspi & co as just presenting itself

Some other ideas:

* Showing how easy it is to get the arduino IDE up and running in Fedora
* Demoing running Fedora on the Raspberry Pi (though, it would be fair to keep in mind the limitations/specifics that Aleksandra pointed out)

Hi ambassadors.

We might be able to represent Fedora on the next (second) Prague Maker Faire.

See pics from the latest (first) event:

The important question is: What would we show/do/present there and how?

Have any of you ever did a Fedora booth on a maker event?

The idea is simple: "Fedora is awesome for Makers" - however how to present that
on a booth? The competition (other booths) is very appealing for visitors.

Thanks for any tips.
