Hi,

Thanks for bringing that up again. But dont talk to much about hotel rates and that stuff and that this can not be fixed a year in advance. Nobody said you have to fix a hotel one year before.

Think more about what has to be done to make that happen!

1.  a call must go out, according to https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FUDCon_bid_process its still the FPL who does that, Tuan we have spoken about that before. So lets see what Matt thinks on it.

2. Time is really short, FUDCon happens in June, makes not 3 months anymore, it takes some time to put a team together and do a bid, s please waist not much. It will work this time as I think Phnom Penh will bid again (if Somvannda speaks with Chantra and clears the question of possibility) and I know there was some interest from Singapore to do one and of course they will get my help doing it. So we would have two bid at least to compare.

Yes, my point was that you make your bid with that inflation in mind. In India for instance, we come up with a tentative quote and add about 5-10% to adjust for inflation.
