Trademark law is clear on the requirement to keep your registered
mark
from being confused with other marks.
Ok Jared, that's clear to me. But we're not using any logos (Shadowman),
trademarks (RedHat, RedHat Inc) and so on. It's simply a blue Fedora that
represents the color/name of our project.
Do you really think it confuses someone? I can't see how it does...
