Hi Jan,

thank you for quick response. This link [1] is the meeting log where the action is to communicate with you asking for schedule the new FAmSCo elections.

We want fresh minds to finish the job current members started.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Abdel,

thanks for contacting me. Originally there was no plan to run FAmSCo
elections as the FAmSCo elected after F24 was expected to serve till
FOSCo is set up. During the Council meeting the last week Bex has
informed us about the current FAmSCo/FOSCo status and pointed out the
fact there are people in the current FAmSCo who might be burned out
and will need a refreshment. So, currently I see the following
possible scenarios for FAmSCo:

1. The current FAmSCo will stay as it is and will serve till FOSCo is
set up and running.
2. People in the FAmSCo, who feel burned out, will step down from
their FAmSCo positions and the rest of the FAmSCo will fill the
vacancy. I can be an mediator, who will contact all the FAmSCo members
and check with them whether they would like to stay in the FAmSCo or
not.
3. We can start a regular FAmSCo election, refreshing all the members.
As we already have nomination period for FESCo and Council running, I
would suggest to start with nomination period for FAmSCo from December
13th to December 20th and then follow the rest of the schedule for
FESCo/Council elections.

I would welcome any comments or suggestions to scenarios above and
also what scenario would Ambassadors and FAmSCo see as feasible for
them self.

Regards,
Jan
