Hello fellow ambassadors,
I am not responsible for this being this way so do not give me credit
for it but I was looking at my classes for degree and found that one of
my classes in my networking administration degree used to have Fedora as
a requirement to pass the class :)
Update: It appears after revisiting it that said requirement was changed
from Fedora to "a linux distribution" Implying that any will do.

Just do what you feel you feel to do.
There are many ways to contribute: promoting fedora in your city, talk
with people who could became possible contributors and so on, join
events etc.
There isn't a powerful meter than ourselves :)
For the "inactive/active mailing list discussion" see FAmSCo answer

Unfortunately, I don't, hence the call out.

Fedora Talk
by Rafael Gomes
Hi Guys,
I translated the website talk.fedoraproject for brazilian portuguese and I
am interested to use this project in Brazil.
Is there a documentation about configuration in twinkle or ekiga? Because
for both case in website there is this information "(Coming Soon)"
I configured twinkle and ekiga and it is very easy, I think. Can I do this
documentation or already is there other one?
Thanks,
Rafael Gomes

Ed Tech Day Ithaca College in NY
by Karlie Robinson
Forgive the cross posting as this is sort of crossing over between an
Ambassador Event and an OLPC SIG item.
I just got off the phone with EdTech Day[1] organizers at Ithaca College
and they will be giving me a speakers slot in their program to talk
about the XO - after all you can't get much more edtech than that.
I want the focus to be on what I know about - obviously - Fedora/OLPC
together in harmony and changing the world one line of code at a time -
specifically what's going on today at Fedora to propel the OLPC
Mission. So most likely 4th grade math curriculum and the massive
amount of work being done regarding packages.
More importantly, this is your opportunity to fill me full of talking
points. Of course I'm happy to wing it, but I'd really love it if you
could tell me more about what's important to you. If you were giving
the talk, what should be said?

Inactive Ambassadors Proposal - FAmSCo answer
by Francesco Ugolini
Your voice is a real precious one and FAmSCo is really interested in
knowing what you think about this topic and the other interesting
connected discussions.
This discussion clearly show us the different POVs that each person
has. For a variety of reason everyone here explained clearly and with
good argumentations his/her reasons: this demonstrated how deep is
your interest in the project and the real passion you have.
Now it's time to take a decision, the most reasonable and the best one
for the project but, firstly, for all Ambassadors, especially the
active ones.
FAmSCo had a discussion during its last meeting and in its list,
finally we all agreed to work on a clean up of the wiki page, as
described in the first mail on this thread [1]. Also, we will stay in
touch with Local Contacts and, absolutely, with the community,
tracking the evolution of all the concerns moved and, if needed,
taking action on those one.
I think this discussion helped each other to face one of the most
complicated and difficult discussion, your words were as useful as
precious for the future of this project (even if you could see the
effects in the short time).
