linux tag...in delay, two questions :)
by Luca Foppiano
Hi all,
I'm sorry for delay, I know now may be late for ask...but I want to
try :)
I'd like to come to linux tag, but cause some problems and events in
this period, I delayed my decision...
There is still possibility to get a place to Linux Tag with fedora
group? :)
thanks and sorry :)

LINdependence 2008 - no Fedora?
by Valent Turkovic
Hi,
I heard about LINdependence 2008 on a podcast [1] and now lots of
distributions are jumping in to help out but there was no mention of
Fedora. Are there any Ambassadors that are willing to help in this
project? It has to be someone who is closer to the location (Felton,
California) of someone willing to travel a bit. If I get the travel
expenses I'll go :) But it is obviously better that someone local goes
there.
More info about this can be heard and read here:

FrOSCon 2008, anyone?
by Sandro "red" Mathys
Hi *
FrOSCon is taking place in Germany very soon-ish [1] and Fedora is not
there (yet?).
Some facts:
- We have no event-owner
- We have no event-staff
- Max Spevack might give a talk there
- The deadline to apply for a booth is 2008-05-18 (this Sunday)
I think it'd be a good expo/conference to go to but I couldn't (and
wouldn't want to) do it alone. We'd need to be 3 persons at least, I'd
say. And I'd like someone local to take the event ownership.
So, the big question is: Who is participating?
Regards
red / SandroMathys

New member - Introduction
by GRAMS, CHRISTIAN
Hello to all ambassadors!
My name is Christian Grams and i live in Germany (Niedersachsen - Gifhorn). I work as an IT-consultant in the main area of IT-security. Furthermore I am certified (I dare to say it...) with Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE/MCT) and of course Linux certified (LPIC1/2). I am working on my RHCE/RHCT certification.
Due to my experience in the it-security sector, doing audits for public sector and workshops/trainings in this area I am highly interested in this area since Linux is the main platform used for security checks / tools.
As to my work as an ambassador, I do not have any expectations as of yet. I am hoping to see many of you during the LinuxTag 2008 in Berlin - which I will attend as a partner of the LPI Central Europe organization.
I will definitely come by to the Fedora stand.
Regards
Christian Grams

Very happy that you guys are trying out the distribution. However, you
should discuss these topics on fedora-list, and not the lists intended
for discussion of infrastructure, marketing, and translation.
Thanks! :-)
