by David Barzilay
Hi Hernan and lists,
Replies below.
Max, Alex, Rahul, Padula, Hugo - I'm asking for some input of yours
inline, so we can better support the Latin American Ambassadors start-up.

You can see what's new on FC6 here:

Improvements: same as above
> 3.- Que proyectos se encuentra liderando FC6
couldn't understand your question here. what are the main projects in FC6?
> 4.- En que proyectos pueden contribuir las comunidades.
contributors can join any of Fedora Core subprojects. please see
Projects table in http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/ footer
you can also start localizing some projects locally like we're doing in
Brazil with free media distribution, localization (translation),
documentation (the more detailed docs in your language more local users
you'll probably have) and ambassador efforts, of course
Padula and Hugo, can you please share your recent event presentations
with Hernan.
> 5.- Existe un plan de Fedora Core, para los siguientes años?
Max, Alex, Rahul. Hernan's asking about Fedora Core plans for the next
few years.
> 6.- Comparativa de FC6 respecto a las nuevas versiones de Distros,
tales como Debian, Ubuntu. OpenSuse. es decir. por que contribuir con
Fedora en vez de colaborar con otros proyectos OpenSource Software.
Hernan, I believe people contribute to Fedora projects for different
reasons, because:
. it is 100% open source software
. connects packages to upstream kernel development
. everyone can find it's way to contribute (techies and non-techies)
. .....

Free Media Emails
by Marc Wiriadisastra
My recent linux server died a few days ago and since I have exams coming
up and my studying I have only just got it full working today. (Yay for
non dvd drives and the first disc being crap)
Anyways I'm trying to retrieve all the emails that would have gone
missing. My ISP who forwards emails to me holds them for my hostname
for a period of 24/36 hours. So my simple question is have all the
requests been posted on the mailing list.
E.g
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Distribution/FreeMedia/FC6DVD/November
E.g. There are 2 Australian ones that haven't been done yet in November
so I'm hoping to send them out but I'm waiting for the emails at the
moment.

Marc

taggin non active ambassadors on he wiki
by "Guillermo Gómez S."
As discussed in today meeting (irc), the point on discussion is:
It hurts the project that some of the ambassadors publish their email
address but do not respond to queries at all.
My original proposal is to tag them somehow so the general public dont
loose their time trying to contact them.
People can be on vacation, but for how long?
Is my opinion they should take care to advice the public on the wiki.
If they are not willing to respond, why publish the email address in the
first place, they could publish an email list address.

Event Kit?
by Jeffrey Tadlock
For a period of time there was talk of an Event Kit. Did anything
materialize with this? I poked around the wiki a little and found a few
references, but nothing that looked like it was finalized.
There was some discussion in a July Steering Committee meeting [1],
which looks to be a status update and what look to me to be some good
ideas and a move in the right direction.
I also found a blank page [2] that looks like it was going to be the
home of the Event Kit.
Did I miss something? Do we have an event kit?
Thanks,
Jeffrey
