I notice a few files in dutils for establishing a Rails environment.
If we made any scripts we wanted to run rake tasks, we'd simply need to depend on the
:environment task.
Failing that, we could always do
rails runner "some script"
In any event, all that is really needed to load the environment is:
require File.expand_path('some_relative_path_to/config/environment', __FILE__)
Anything I missed that means we need those other two files?
That code was ported from a previous project, and we pretty much left it as-is.
At this point, only dbomatic uses it, so if the above allows dbomatic to work
and access the ActiveRecord models, I'm all for it. I'll also note that we
can probably fold this code directly into dbomatic itself and just nuke
dutils from orbit.
