It will (soon) provide a REST API that allows you to manage it from
software, which should let you integrate it with other orchestration
tools that want to manage instances in the cloud.

Not quite sure if this is what your are referring to, but
aeolus-configure provides puppet recipes and modules which you can pull
into an existing puppet installation to deploy the various aeolus
components across your infrastructure and automatically setup cloud
providers, hardware profiles, templates, etc.
