Although I totally agree with you, this is the part of the earlier
discussion that drew some controversy.
I think it will be an improvement, and will make it easier for new
contributors. However, knowing that not everyone is on board, I'm
inclined to say we shouldn't rock the boat too much.
As a counter-proposal, what if we tried this experimentally on a smaller
project, such as aeolus-image? If it worked well, we could come back and
advocate it to the larger group.
The original thing in your thread was pretty much just changing to use
GitHub the new master source repo, rather than fedorahosted, not changing
the corresponding process.
That's a simple step in the "usability" direction, so lets get that done
then look at further steps afterwards?
