Hello folks,
during the Boost 1.90 rebuild in Fedora, we have discovered that Debian removed
slic3r entirely, as it is upstream dead:
https://github.com/slic3r/Slic3r/issues/5197#issuecomment-3745864053
I was considering: Should we do the same?
And while at it, should we try packaging some more modern open source slicers,
such as SuperSlicer and/or OrcaSlicer (both PrusaSlicer forks)?
https://github.com/supermerill/SuperSlicerhttps://github.com/OrcaSlicer/OrcaSlicer
I know packaging PrusaSlicer is not easy and I don't suppose packaging any of
the forks will be :( But I don't want Fedora to lack behind in this, it used to
be the first Linux distro with 3D printing stuff (including Skeinforge and
RepetierHost, both very much dead nowadays).
